Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial Aid (Need-Based) Financial Aid is awarded to families who would otherwise not be able to afford to enroll. Please note that financial aid is only available for the study of one instrument per student. Financial aid will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Personal and financial information is held in the strictest confidence. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submit your application (2023-2024 Application) and the following documentation as early as possible to ensure timely review:

  1. W-2 forms
  2. A copy of your current year’s federal income tax return
  3. A current pay stub

Maintenance of the Financial Aid Award is contingent on regular attendance, consistent progress, and the willingness of both student and parent to adhere to the following:

  1. Students must attend each scheduled lesson.
  2. Students must arrive on time for lessons.
  3. Students must bring their instruments to each lesson.
  4. Tuition payments must be up-to-date and payments must be made on time.

Any termination of awards will be preceded by written notice and an explanation of the problem identified.

Scholarships (Merit-Based): all financial aid and scholarship applicants must complete a financial aid application. Student performance and Opus 118 faculty recommendations may be required as part of this process.
